TOPSHOP X ADIDAS

TOPSHOP has unveiled its highly anticipated collection with Adidas Originals, which launches in stores on March 20. And with fashion's obsession with sports luxe at its peak, thanks to Riccardo Tisci's Nike collaboration and Chanel's much-talked-about couture trainers, it really couldn't have come at a better time.
The 20-piece collection celebrates the sports brand's heritage signatures - the logo, the triple stripe and the relaxed, slouchy shapes - while incorporating Topshop's youthful femininity, as seen in the colourful prints inspired by London landscapes. The footwear is a highlight, featuring colourful printed hi-tops and trainers.
"Topshop and Adidas Originals working together is a total celebration of the greatness of fashion and sportswear and how important and influential they are to each other," said Topshop creative director and Vogue contributing fashion editor Kate Phelan. "We wanted to bring some femininity to the range and make the collection fit with all your fashion staples; the beauty is in how you combine it together. We're in a sportswear revolution at the moment. Fashion is really driven by what's happening in the sportswear world, it's at the top of the radar in the fashion stakes - so to have Adidas Originals as a starting point was fantastic."
